Independent sound designer and music composer for film and video. I have a background in the arts, having studied at Filmkunstskolen i Kabelvåg, doing video exhibition works.
I love recording in the field or in my studio and own modest equipment for both. I play the double bass, on which I’m classicaly trained and typically play with a bow. Sometimes I also do video editing.

Vindens vesen

Inga does not dwell on the past and she does not dread the future. It makes no difference to her whether she is free or trapped, alive or dead. The only things that matter to Inga - that drive all of her actions - are sensory impressions.




Together with the norwegian film collective, Sagtens [that I founded in 2021], we made a longer musical genre experiment. Every line was sung, but there was no rhythmic foundation, so that the lines didn’t have to be sung with a specific timing. This was an experiment in freeing musical film form from grid and timing and thereby freeing acting delivery to incorporate improvisation, to a certain extend. The music was composed prior to shooting, but was re-arranged after the editing phase. So the editing somehow became a reinterpretation of the fundamental composition.
