Independent sound designer and music composer for film and video. I have a background in the arts, having studied at Filmkunstskolen i Kabelvåg, doing video exhibition works.
I love recording in the field or in my studio and own modest equipment for both. I play the double bass, on which I’m classicaly trained and typically play with a bow. Sometimes I also do video editing.

Kælderklang
[english: Basement reverberance]

30 min / concert / Posthuset Kolding / march 2025

A double bass concert being performed in a very reverberent room in the basement under Posthuset, Kolding, which was livestreamed in the yard of Posthuset, as part of an art exhibiting by khole [an art collective I founded in Kolding, for collaborative exhibition concepts]. 

I played the double bass with a bow, which was picked up by two Lom Uzi omnidirectional mics placed up in the room and two Lom Geofons placed on a large metal plate in front of me. The metal plate was completly analog and picked of the low frequency reveberations of the room.
